AIM salutes Rescue Heroes that serve our communities to keep us safe every time an emergency 911 EMS/Fire call comes in.
This March we are celebrating Firefighter Kenneth Taggart’s 2017 Rookie of the Year Award.
Firefighter Taggart was recently awarded Probationary Firefighter of the Year for Frederick County Fire & Rescue Services in Maryland. The award was presented at Frederick County Chamber of Commerce’s 6th annual Public Safety Awards in Brunswick, MD on March 7, 2017.
Firefighter Taggart’s leadership and passion to serve the Frederick County Community exceeds what is required of him as a probationary firefighter. His dedication is observed by his attention to detail, work ethic and knowledge during emergency events in all aspects of Fire and EMS. Despite the fact that Firefighter Taggart lives 3.5 hours away, he is always first to arrive early for every 24-hour shift. His pride and respect to serve the Frederick County Community is observed by his daily activities while reporting for duty.
In addition to serving on the Frederick County Fire & Rescue Services Team, Kenneth Taggart is the current Fire Chief for Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad located in Pennsylvania.
AIM congratulates our March Rescue Hero and wishes Firefighter Taggart continued success and safety throughout his career!
